Field Studio is located across two renovated Victorian shopfronts, each with original details and a creative, thoughtful feel. The space is designed for collaboration, whether you’re hosting a workshop, a shoot, or something more experimental.
We’re based on south Causewayside, just an 8-minute walk from Summerhall and The Meadows — close enough to feel central, tucked away enough to feel like a find.
West room

West room

Bright, generous and full of energy
Our West room is set up for deeper sessions or bigger groups. The centrepiece is a beautifully deep, designer’s dream of a desk — it seats 12–14 people for workshops. (It also feels luxurious with just 6, if you want space to spread out.)
There’s a hand-built birchwood kitchen with fridge, sink and microwave — plus doors that open to a suntrap garden. Art on the walls. Big west-facing windows.
A room that feels like it holds ideas well.

East room

Calm, relaxed and welcoming
This front room has a Scandinavian wood table that seats 8–10 comfortably — perfect for meetings, co-creation sessions or small events. There’s also a built-in banquette for breakouts, a comfy chair if you need a thinking spot, and a cute bookshelf full of art and design books.
Light filters through the east-facing window with wooden blinds. The space is open yet grounded — a great backdrop for thoughtful work.

Focus studio
A peaceful, self-contained studio designed for deep focus and creative flow.
With its own shopfront and private entrance, Focus Studio is separate from the main space — quiet, calm, and beautifully minimal. Inside, you'll find four spacious birchwood desks beneath vaulted ceilings, along with a private kitchenette and toilet.
It's a space for people who need to think clearly, work deeply, and stay in their own rhythm.
